CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid (500 ml) - Competition Motorsport
Competition Motorsport CMS Performance RF1 DOT4 Racing Brake Fluid from $21.95
Real-Life High Boiling Point Without The Real High Price RF1 Racing Brake Fluid from CMS Performance is a fully-synthetic DOT4 brake fluid formulated to provide extraordinary performance under the most demanding high-temperature racing and track-day conditions. With a dry boiling point of 328º C (622º F), RF1 exceeds all DOT3 & DOT4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 fluids. (Not compatible with DOT5 or mineral-based brake fluids.) On the race track, brake systems operate at very high sustained temperatures, and there is perhaps no single safety system more important in racing than your brakes. No single part of that system is more critical than brake fluid. At CMS Performance, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid at the race track that didn't live up to its claimed performance when things got hot. So we did something about it. Manufactured in partnership with Orthene, the brake fluid supplier to many teams in Formula 1, WEC, and other professional series, RF1 Racing Brake Fluid was formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at the extreme system temperatures and line pressures found in racing and track days. The bottom line is this: you can spend more on brake fluid, but you can't buy higher-performance than RF1 Racing Brake Fluid. RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Details: Typical dry boiling point: 328º C (622º F) Typical wet boiling point: 204º C (399º F) Exceeds DOT3 & DOT4 standards Bottle size: 500 ml (16.9 fl oz) Click Here for Product MSDS Sheet A Word About Flushing Brake Fluid All brake fluid degrades over time (not mileage), attracting water as it ages, which, at high brake temperatures, can lead to fluid boil and brake fade or failure. That's why the "wet" (aged) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (new) boiling point. To maintain maximum braking performance, Competition Motorsport strongly suggests replacing your brake fluid before every track event, but at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. It's cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way!
A1-242 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors (C8 Corvette) - Competition Motorsport
Girodisc A1-242 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors (C8 Corvette) $1,050.00
Competition Motorsport is an Authorized dealer for GiroDisc products and we are one of the largest stocking dealers in the country. We ship most products same or next business day to ensure we meet your delivery deadline. Fits Corvette C8 The GiroDisc system is a direct replacement for the OEM brake disc. The 2-piece floating disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The Giro Disc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces. The reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response. When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads, and Competition Motorsport RF-1 brake fluid (also available from CompetitionMotorsport.com), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron which is constructed in the USA and is made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by grade12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The 2-piece GiroDisc design allows for rotor only replacement as well to minimize future replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling. Sold/Priced per pair.

Corvette C8 Z06 Z07 CCB Front Iron Rotor Conversion - Competition Motorsport
Girodisc C8 Corvette Z06 Girodisc A1-320 Front Rotor Conversion (for Z07 CCB) $1,600.00
Fitment: Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 With Factory Z07 CCB Rotors This Girodisc two-piece rotor kit is a direct replacement for the front rotors on the Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 with the factory Z07 carbon ceramic brakes. Girodisc two-piece, fully-floating rotor assemblies are direct replacements for the carbon ceramic rotors and utilize the factory calipers, but with a slightly different pad shape commonly known as D1405. This is the exact pad shape used in the C8 Z06 without the Z07 package. Please contact us at (844) 438-7244 if you'd like some help finding pads. Girodisc rotor rings are machined from a proprietary casting made of high-carbon steel formulated to Girodisc’s specifications. This superior metallurgy results in a rotor that holds up better, and the 72 curved vanes act as a centrifugal pump pulling air in through the hub to effectively cool the rotors under hard use. The 2-piece design means a reusable hat which can be attached to new rings (part number D1-320) when they need to be replaced. All major components including the hats, rotor rings, and drive pins are manufactured in-house at the Girodisc facility in Bellingham, WA, from domestically-sourced materials. The hat is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and coated in a black anodized finish. The drive pins are made from a high-strength steel alloy and cadmium-plated for corrosion resistance. All rotors are assembled with spring clips and washers for race-ready float while also being street-friendly with no noise from loose hardware. The minimum thickness at which we recommend replacing these rings is 34mm. We also recommend replacing them if a crack leads to the edge of the ring. Sold and priced per pair.
